This year Russian Canadian Business Association held its Annual Business Gala Awards Night at The Paramount Conference Centreкомпютри втора употреба in Woodbridge, ON. This event has set the new standard for the level and quality of organization of large-scale public events in the Russian-speaking community of Canada.

The choice of venue, catering, entertainment and overall presentation made for an exceptionally pleasant experience. I have seen many challenges that face organizers of such large events. I am especially glad to see that it is indeed possible to hold an event without cutting corners in pursuit of achieving the title of the best-held event in the community.

I can certainly recommend business people to attend RCBA Gala Events in the future. The pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with good entertainment is a very nice way to establish new business contacts, and wrap up the holiday season with a great party.

On June 23rd, I assisted and acted as a second photographer to Maya Kovacheva’s coverage of a wedding at The Caledon Inn. It just is so wondeful to have a wedding at a country side on a balm summer day. The wedding and reception was on the grounds of the historic 1830’s McCarty Stone Canadian Farmhouse - nowadays a place to Caledon Inn Dining Room and McCarty Pub.

Bride’s heritage includes Native American Indians. So, as part of the wedding day their union was blessed by the ceremonial dances of Native Americans.
