10:09AM. The lower Manhattan is submerged in a gigantic cloud of dust and debris. Some people on a rooftop around me start to cry.  Personally I have a feeling of disbelief, and anger, but not sadness. It would come much later.

In the lower left corner of the photo there is the tower of The Woolworth Building which is 241 meters or 57 floors in height. It was the tallest building in the world from 1913 until 1930. One World Trade Center (The North Tower) was 537 meters high (with its antenna) or more than twice the height of The Woolworth Building.
